This new wine trail is a must for any guest that loves trying new and one-of-a-kind flavors of locally made wines and hard ciders. There will be no wine (or cider) left behind when you take part in this new tasting experience! Here is everything you need to know about the Gatlinburg Winery Trail:

What is the Gatlinburg Winery Trail?

The top wineries and cideries in the Smoky Mountains have come together as part of the Gatlinburg Winery Trail! This collection of five top-rated establishments includes Tennessee Cider Company, Tennessee Homemade Wines, Smokin’ Banjo and Old Mountain Wine Company in Gatlinburg, plus the combined locale of Tennessee Cider Company and Tennessee Homemade Wines in Sevierville.

The Gatlinburg Winery Trail allows you to enjoy sips of cider, wine and sparkling wine at each of these five locations! This VIP tasting experience is just $10 total. You’ll actually save $15 as VIP tastings at each typically cost $5 apiece. It’s a great way to sample the premier flavors of the Smoky Mountains, getting to experience a variety of different tastes and helping you find a favorite, or two, that you want to take back home.

When you sign up to take the Gatlinburg Winery Trail, you’ll have seven days to stop at each location for a VIP tasting. You’ll have the chance to try more than 40 different wines and ciders along your journey. It’s totally up to you when you show up to each and the order in which you visit them all. At each tasting, you’ll receive a passport stamp. Once you have all five stamps, you’ll redeem your passport at your final destination for a free gift!

Since there’s no specific time you need to visit each location, you’ll have the freedom to drop by whenever you want. That makes stopping by each an easy activity to add to your itinerary when you explore different parts of the Smokies. Tennessee Cider Company, Tennessee Homemade Wines and Smokin’ Banjo are within 400 feet of each other on the Parkway in Gatlinburg, so you’ll be able to easily check off three locations when you explore the downtown area!
